Dr. Eng. Khoirul Anwar, S.T., M.Eng.

Dr. Anwar is an accomplished academic and researcher with a Bachelor’s degree (cum laude) in Electrical Engineering from ITB and Master’s and Doctoral degrees from NAIST, Japan. He has held visiting professor positions in Australia, Finland, and the United Kingdom, and previously served as an assistant professor at JAIST before joining Telkom University in 2016 as an associate professor and Director of the Center for Advanced Intelligent Communications (AICOMS). His techniques have been adopted by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), and he has held key leadership roles in Indonesia’s 5G Forum and the Asia Pacific Telecommunity Wireless Group (AWG). Widely recognized for his contributions, he has received numerous national and international awards, including multiple best paper awards and lecturer awards. His research interests span wireless communications, coding theory, signal processing, molecular and quantum communications, and error correction, and he actively contributes as a reviewer for leading journals and conferences.
