Prof. Ir. Agus Pratondo S.T., M.T., Ph.D.

Prof. Agus Pratondo, Ph.D., earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from ITB before beginning his academic career at Telkom Polytechnic in 2009. He completed his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National University of Singapore in 2016 under a Singapore government scholarship and later obtained a professional engineering certification (Ir.) in 2021. Throughout his career, he has held important academic and managerial roles, managing government-funded projects totaling IDR 3.5 billion. His research in machine learning for image segmentation and classification is widely cited, reflected in his Scopus h-index of 13, and in 2024 he was recognized in the World’s Top 2% Scientists list by Stanford University and Elsevier BV for his scientific contributions.
